Eighth Generation is seeking a Product Development Associate to support its growing product lines by bringing innovative, Indigenous Designed products to market.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Working knowledge of Excel and Outlook
- Minimum 1 year of experience in product development, graphic design, or a related field
- Strong visual communication skills and an eye for detail
- Portfolio of recent graphic design work is required with application
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Creative Director to conceptualize and realize new products and seasonal collections
- Conduct market research on trends in design, color, materials, and competitor products
- Assist in developing mockups, mood boards, colorways, and detailed tech packs
- Create and adapt artwork for a variety of products in collaboration with Indigenous artists
- Ensure designs meet both the artist’s intent and our production standards
- Support packaging design, product refinement, and the overall development process
- Use graphic design skills to support design communication to vendors and artist collaborators

- Demonstrated sensitivity when working with Indigenous artists and cultural content
- Hourly Pay Range: $23-24.50 DOE
- Hybrid Work Schedule (Monday and Friday work-from-home, Tuesday-Thursday in office)
