Requirements
- Experience reading, reviewing, and editing business contracts is a critical function of this role and would be highly preferred
- Advanced problem solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and generate results among potentially conflicting constituencies.
- Healthcare and business acumen with a tuned awareness to how clients buy and the pressures within the healthcare system.
- Experience creating value-based pricing models in healthcare.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlines.
- Ability to lead a team with a dynamic workload within an environment of tight deadlines and significant pressure.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio. Ability to pick up computer applications quickly.
Responsibilities
- The role will be responsible for overseeing a team of contracting and partner management experts who help to negotiate and manage existing and future partnerships.
- The director will be responsible for leading and directing the business negotiation strategy, ensuring partnerships are meeting business needs, and working across the enterprise for alignment with various matrix partners.
- Determine prioritization of work for the team based on a variety of factors and ensure work is delivered on time to meet market and business needs.
- Influence current and potential business stakeholders while developing a business case to drive the development and execution of new solutions inclusive of adding capabilities to existing solutions.
- Can take complex models and plans and articulate into simple, effective and engaging visual communications.
- Ensure solutions are adaptable to changing market needs and meet end buyer and users goals so they are attractive in market.
- Lead and develop sales strategies that help differentiate Evernorth in the marketplace and align our interest with those of our clients and their members.
