AMD is looking to hire Product Development Engineers to develop and/or test electrical/electronic components, software, and/or systems for semiconductor products to accelerate next-generation computing experiences.
Requirements
- Product development cycles for microprocessors;
- Unix or Linux environments;
- C, C++, or Python;
- CPU, GPU, or SoC architecture;
- Software debugging in macOS, Linux, or Unix;
- Object oriented design;
- Data Structures;
Responsibilities
- Develop and/or test electrical/electronic components, software, and/or systems for semiconductor products.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new products.
- Develop software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation for products.
- Integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
- Analyze needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of hardware.
- Determine hardware compatibility and/or influence hardware design.
- Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifestyle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.
Other
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
