Stanadyne is looking to design, develop, and optimize automotive products from concept through production, driving innovation and ensuring successful new product launches.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
- Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, and other quality and testing tools.
- Familiarity with materials selection, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply engineering principles to complex challenges.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform concept development, detailed design, and engineering analysis using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
- Optimize product designs to meet performance, cost, and manufacturability targets.
- Conduct engineering testing and validation, including prototypes and functional testing, to ensure products meet specifications.
- Create and maintain design documentation, such as DFMEA, DVP&R, and engineering reports.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to select appropriate materials and components.
- Support production teams in resolving technical issues during product manufacturing and launch phases.
- Provide technical input during design reviews and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

- Develop new automotive products, components, and systems by collaborating with design, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations relevant to automotive product development.
- Work on multiple projects concurrently, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
- 3-5 years of experience in product development, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
