Ford is seeking to build a fully electric transportation future through its Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design (EVDD) team. The company aims to deliver industry-leading customer experiences for electric vehicle buyers and owners by developing innovative and reliable electric vehicle systems.
Requirements
- Bachelors of Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with design and testing of Automotive electrical systems – hardware, software, and systems
- Experience with vehicle network tools including CANalyzer
- Experience with development/testing of wireless technology is a plus
Responsibilities
- Development of new TPMS hardware, software, and systems
- Support Warranty Analysis and quality improvement
- Work with lead engineers to take responsibility for a subset of parts/requirements
- Lead design reviews with internal and external teams including suppliers
- Quality documentation development and reviews
- Ensure requirements such as FMVSS, ECE, and other regulatory or legal requirements are met including RF certification and homologation
- Packaging of receiver module to optimize RF reception

- Hybrid position with minimum 4 days/week onsite required in Dearborn, MI
