Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Proficiency in ERP software, Epicor/Kinetic a plus
- Strong understanding of digital printing technology, finishing equipment, and label manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with product development methodologies (Agile, Stage-Gate, etc.) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and prototype finishing equipment for digital printing and label applications.
- Develop detailed CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability standards.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate product performance and durability.
- Analyze test results and iterate designs to meet quality and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless production integration.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and materials in the digital printing and label industry.
Other
- Lead product development projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to achieve project milestones.
- Work with marketing and sales teams to translate customer requirements into product features.
- Identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation based on market trends and customer feedback.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and mentoring product development teams.
