TE Connectivity's Advanced Systems Architecture Group and Kilovac Products Design Center need an R&D Product Development Engineer to contribute to the development of mechanical and electrical designs for Electromechanical and Solid-State Power system switching components and Power Distribution Systems, as well as High Voltage DC power switching devices and associated power distribution equipment for military and commercial applications.
Requirements
- Experience with software tools such as AutoCAD, Space Claim, Creo, Altium and LabVIEW are required.
- Schematic layout, PCB layout and circuit analysis (electrical and thermal) using simulation tools (Spice, Ansys, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Knowledge of typical serial interface communication protocols.
- Experience using ANSI C, C++ is highly desirable.
- Experience with ERP software; SAP experience a plus
- Hands-on experience required – building of hardware with electrical, mechanical and software aspects is highly desired.
- Design of power electronics circuits up to 1200Vdc. These may include items such as op-amps, power sources, DC/DC-Conversion, Logic devices, embedded computing (microcontrollers).

- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, EE/CS or Physics, and 2+ years’ experience related to primary job function.
