Greenheck Group is looking for an Engineering student to assist with laboratory testing operations, new lab startup, product development, and cost reduction projects to improve their commercial HVAC manufacturing processes and products.
Requirements
- CAD experience preferred (AutoDesk, Solid Works, Inventor).
- Knowledge of airflow systems, HVAC systems and electrical systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with laboratory testing operations which include the setup, test, and data collection of various life cycle testing, refrigeration performance, and efficiency testing of Greenheck products.
- Assist engineering team with the startup and commissioning of the new lab and test facility on the Greenheck Tulsa campus.
- Interpret test data, write technical reports, and communicate results to engineering team.
- Help to create new product CAD drawings, 3D models and documentation needed for new product launches.
- Assist engineering with prototyping new product designs and providing feedback regarding designs.
- Participate in cost reduction and quality improvement projects.
Other
- Enrollment in a related bachelor’s degree program (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or similar degree)
- On track to graduate in the next 2 years or less.
- Ability to act and make decisions independently.
- ASHRAE, FSAE, Baja, or related student organization participation is a plus.
- Hand and power tool experience.
