Turbocam is looking to develop new products for their customers by overseeing and developing new products, selecting materials, developing processes and related technologies to satisfy customer needs, and ensuring successful implementation within the organization.
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience using CAD and CAM software preferred.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, and Excel. MS Project or related software preferred.
- Strong math and trigonometry skills required.
- Ability to read design prints, understanding of ASME Y14.5M, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and familiarization of inspection equipment and gages.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and evaluating customer design information, drawings, and data.
- Verifying that all customer design information and data meets and supports original design intent.
- Developing a manufacturing process to effectively produce, and inspect a quality part according to the customer’s design and intent.
- Building accurate geometric CAD models geometry as needed according to customer drawings and design intent.
- Searching for and implementing technical advancements that will benefit the company.
- Providing other CAD modeling fixture design and other technical services as needed.
- Creating and implementing systems for improved quality, efficiency and cost savings.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required, Mechanical or Manufacturing preferred.
- 2 years’ experience in engineering or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must have strong written, verbal, interpersonal and graphic presentation skills.
