Red Fox Innovations, a Caerus Corp company, is looking to solve the business and technical problem of efficiently managing the front end of new business acquisition, ensuring successful quoting, product development, and new product introductions to meet financial, quality, and customer requirements before handing off to the production team.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in PLM/ERP systems, BOM and routing management, Microsoft Office, and quoting tools.
  • Strong understanding of cut and sewn soft goods construction, materials sourcing, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven ability to analyze and optimize contribution margin through costing and process improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the customer onboarding process from initial engagement through quotation and development phases.
  • Work closely with engineering, quoting, and product development teams to ensure timely and accurate quoting of new products.
  • Validate technical feasibility, manufacturing compatibility, and cost structure for new products.
  • Facilitate capability assessments (DFA/DFM reviews, prototyping feasibility, sourcing needs, etc.).
  • Manage timelines and deliverables related to product development and initial production readiness.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely transfer of all Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Routings to Manufacturing, including investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Manage and oversee the sourcing, evaluation, and approval of fabrics, trims, and other raw material components, ensuring optimal quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with product standards.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Textile Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) required.
  • 5+ years of experience in product development, costing, or technical design.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for newly acquired business opportunities from initiation through the entire front-end process. Effectively communicate progress with the customer and ensure internal team alignment with goals and due dates.
