At Henkel, the Adhesive Technologies business unit is looking to solve the business problem of empowering people to transform industries and provide customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings by developing and optimizing new product formulations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong ability to interpret technical and performance data and recommend actionable next steps
Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience creating product formulations in a lab environment
- Participate in lab-scale batch making processes for packaging, labeling, and hygiene adhesive applications
- Conduct specific application testing to evaluate product performance and quality
- Learn the full product formulation life cycle - from lab development to production and market launch
- Develop an understanding of SAP systems and learn how to interpret and analyze formulation and production data
- Contribute insights that support strategic decision-making based on technical and market knowledge
Other
- An undergraduate student graduating in 2027, 2028 or 2029 pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science Engineering
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and brainstorming skills to support innovation and problem-solving
- This internship is NOT eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.
- Henkel’s Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through mid-August.
- Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled.
