ECHO Incorporated is looking for a Program Manager to manage new product development projects from start to finish, managing detailed project schedules and budgets, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration for successful product launches.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management and/or related experience.
- Proficient in applying project management methodologies and practices, encompassing the creation and upkeep of detailed project plans, defining project scope, facilitating meetings, documenting decisions, and ensuring timely resolution of action items.
- Experience seeing manufactured goods projects through a full, defined NPD stage-gate process.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Advanced proficiency with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the successful development and launch of assigned new product development projects.
- Administer the creation and maintenance of detailed project schedules and task lists for assigned projects, utilizing provided templates and software, while tracking tasks and ensuring timely resolution to maintain project schedule and budget.
- Manage the creation and upkeep of the detailed project schedule and task list for assigned projects using provided templates and software.
- Supervise tasks attentively and ensure timely completion to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
- Create and maintain the project budget for assigned projects.
- Schedule and lead regular project meetings for assigned projects to ensure continuous progress.
- Lead the creation of stage-gate documents for assigned projects, which will be presented to senior management for approval in Project Council Meetings.
