Exact Sciences is looking to develop an MRD assay for cancer care, and needs support in research including sample processing, NGS based workflow development, and data analysis to help cancer patients by monitoring their disease and supporting treatment decisions.
Requirements
- Prior experience in Molecular Biology lab techniques.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous experience with DNA or RNA sequencing workflows.
- Data analysis skills and basic knowledge of Python/R is a plus.
- Experience in an academic research lab.
Responsibilities
- Human specimen processing for nucleic acid isolation.
- Create detailed experimental plans, notes, and summaries.
- Assist other team members as necessary.
- Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
- Ability to use various types of laboratory equipment; including automation and pipettes for extended periods of time.
- May perform repetitious actions using lab tools.
- Ability to use near vision to view samples at close range.

- Good academic understanding of Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry, self-motivated, organized and able to work as part of a team.
