IMMY is looking for a Product Development Technician to support their product development team in laboratory tasks and assist in moving development projects from concept to product launch.
Requirements
- Chemistry coursework required
- Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell Biology and/or Microbiology/Immunology coursework preferred
- Experience using immunoassay or molecular assay techniques preferred
- 0-2 years experience in a lab setting
Responsibilities
- Making buffers
- Assembling and testing Lateral Flow/Enzyme Immunoassay prototypes
- Assist in moving development projects from concept to product launch as assigned
- Maintain a lab notebook and/or other documentation as required by supervisor
- Keep dedicated glassware clean and dry
- Make sure biohazard bags are empty
- Re-stock supplies as necessary
Other
- Associates Degree or equivalent college level coursework in scientific field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong math skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
- Ability to work with a team
