Entegris in Colorado Springs is looking to solve the problem of developing and supporting high-performance, injection molded microenvironments for the Semiconductor industry by hiring a Product Engineer II who can contribute to the full product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks or Creo) and engineering analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, tolerancing, and statistical validation.
  • Experience and desire to design plastic injection molded products.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new and derivative products** using 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks/Creo), delivering manufacturable solutions that meet high standards of quality and performance.
  • Build and iterate on proof-of-principle prototypes** to explore design concepts, solve technical challenges, and accelerate innovation.
  • Apply engineering analysis tools** such as FEA, CFD, and mold flow to validate designs and guide data-driven decisions throughout the development process.
  • Develop and execute test plans** that ensure product reliability and readiness for manufacturing, learning from both successes and setbacks to improve future outcomes.
  • Partner closely with manufacturing, quality, and product management teams** to support new product introductions and pilot builds, aligning efforts to shared goals and timelines.
  • Provide ongoing support for released products**, including troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and customer issue resolution, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
  • Investigate product issues using structured problem-solving methods**, communicating findings clearly and constructively across teams.

  • Passion for making great products and solving complex technical problems to meet customer needs.
  • 2-6 years of experience in product design, development, or R&D.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions and cultures.
  • Willingness to travel globally (~10%).
