Requirements
- Understanding of battery technologies, including cell, module, and pack design principles.
- Experience in design support and product troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of root cause analysis tools and methodologies (TBP, FTA, etc.).
- Design evaluation experience (DRBFM, DFMEA, etc.).
- Process evaluation experience (QAN, PFMEA, etc.).
- Proficiency with engineering software tools (e.g., CAD, data analysis software).
- Experience with electric vehicle battery systems and related standards.
Responsibilities
- Support collaboration between design and manufacturing teams to ensure battery cell, module, and pack designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
- Assist in product investigations and troubleshooting when manufacturing processes do not meet design requirements.
- Participate in root cause analysis and help implement corrective actions for product issues.
- Support testing and validation efforts to verify product performance and compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives based on manufacturing feedback and product data.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality, supply chain, and vehicle engineering.
- Document engineering activities and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in product engineering or related field, preferably in battery manufacturing or automotive components.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
