Requirements
- Experience troubleshooting automated control systems, including data acquisition, robotics, IO, industrial communication, and machine vision
- Assembly skills (electrical/mechanical)
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing ultra-high vacuum systems
- Experience working in a cleanroom and following all customer protocols
- Semiconductor capital equipment experience is strongly preferred
- Control system analysis and troubleshooting
- Integrated system assembly
Responsibilities
- Develop deep knowledge of their assigned product family (e.g., certain types of semiconductor tools) to handle complex technical issues, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Serve as the main technical resource for Field and internal engineering teams, helping others solve complex problems and providing training on specific product families.
- Instruct and train FSEs, agents and customers on the operation and maintenance of products.
- Contribute to and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and troubleshooting guides for the product family.
- Handle escalations from the field service engineers when more technical expertise is required.
- Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, and Product Development teams to offer feedback for future product improvements based on field experience and customer requests.
- Manage product over its lifetime including features, software and hardware upgrades, and technical and marketing materials.

- Minimum education of an engineering Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office (excel, powerpoint), Google products, or related software
- Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills
- Advanced problem-solving orientation and decision-making skills
- Eligibility to legally work in the United States, and to travel internationally for work
