The company is seeking an experienced Product Engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of new products, focusing on manufacturability, durability, and cost-effectiveness, while ensuring products meet standards for aesthetics, functionality, and production efficiency.
Requirements
- Expertise in rotational molding, injection molding, and blow molding design principles.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Creo experience preferred) with strong knowledge of surfacing and top-down design.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Lead product design efforts by collaborating with industrial designers and Product Management to maintain design intent while ensuring manufacturability.
- Engineer single and multi-component plastic products with a focus on cost optimization, durability, and performance.
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to refine designs, prevent production challenges, and improve efficiency.
- Manage product development projects, estimating timelines, identifying risks, and driving execution to meet deadlines and cost targets.
- Evaluate feasibility of designs by considering costs, materials, and technical constraints.
- Conduct engineering studies on product structures, subsystems, and component interactions.
- Develop innovative solutions to address technical challenges in product design and manufacturing.

- 3-7 years of experience in product engineering, preferably in plastics manufacturing.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
