Super Micro Computer is seeking a Product Engineer to support their Engineering team in developing and validating storage system-level products, addressing technical challenges in server configuration, performance testing, and product quality improvement.
Requirements
- Experience in assembling, testing, and debugging computer systems
- Excellent knowledge of server systems specially GPU system and computer architecture
- Basic Linux OS command line knowledge and Windows
Responsibilities
- Perform server prototype assembly, testing, and debugging
- Perform server configuration and system performance testing
- Support product quality improvement during design and manufacturing stages
- Support technical issues to closure by arranging resources and engaging with other engineering teams to duplicate and debug
- Duplicate customer motherboard/system issues
- Travel to onsite support
Other
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other engineering majors will also be considered
- 2-4+ years of relative working experience in electronic or computer industry will be a plus
- Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment
