Fuyao Automotive North America Incorporated (FANA) is seeking a Product Engineer to enhance customer and Fuyao's value by analyzing OEM drawings and quotations, designing and developing process flow charts, managing APQP files, evaluating customer engineering changes, and improving manufacturing processes for automotive glass production.
Requirements
- Must have training in: FMEA ( Failure Mode Effects Analysis )
- Must be familiar with: IATF 16949
- Must be familiar with: PPAP ( Production Part Approval Process)
- Must be familiar with: APQP ( Advanced Product Quality Planning )
- Must be familiar with: SPC ( Statistical Process Control )
- Previous Automotive Injection molding Experience
- Proficient with Computer Aided Design (CAD) Stations (CATIA V5 or UG NX )
Responsibilities
- Analyze OEM drawings and quotations, design and develop process flow charts, engineering requirements, manage APQP files.
- Evaluate customer engineering changes, change tools and documents, manage the engineering changes.
- Plan and define new products, convert to company documents and standards.
- Develop the tool from design until buy off, including molds/Assemble fixtures/Checking fixtures.
- Develop the process, track open issues until being fixed.
- Improve the manufacturing process and monitoring the process flow chart.
- Follow up in OEM plants related to products functionality, improve the parts to meet with customer expectation.
