Requirements
- Wafer Handling / Robotics experience required
- Working knowledge of Statistics Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCCA), 8D and 5Why Problem Solving.
- Understanding GD&T and commonly used drawing standards.
- Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment.
- Prior robotics, product support, and technical engineer experience is beneficial.
- Experience with customer communications a plus.
- Individual and team contributor with go getter attitude and self-drive and motivation.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in global platform field escalations, emphasizing in Lam platforms on Etch, Deposition and Clean products.
- Analyze research data and product specifications.
- Acquire and apply engineering theories, methods and research techniques in the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical problems.
- Conduct and design well defined experiments and tests pertaining to the development of new methods, processes, hardware, standards, modification of current material, components, software, or process specifications and the resolution to complex technical problems
- Instituting and owning corrective actions and following through to assure proper release and hand off of solutions to Technical Services and Field Process/Field Service organizations
- Highly quantitative, and ability to articulate plan including findings, data collected and progress to Lam’s customers on a regular basis

Other
- 5+ years’ semiconductor equipment experience
- BS degree in Engineering or equivalent, MS degree or PhD a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
