Requirements
- Excellent JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint skills as well as strong presentation skills needed.
- Experience working in functional areas such as telematics, product management, digital transformation, and emerging technologies and/or relevant industries such as automotive, consulting, or technology.
- Agile product management or corporate development experience also a plus.
- Ability to easily break down complex, ambiguous problems and propose novel solutions.
- Experience managing multiple outside vendors /partners and creating win-win outcomes.
- Strong relationship building skills; Demonstrated ability to facilitate and achieve cohesion and among many different individuals and functions.
- Experience conducting market research and validating customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Understand Bluetooth SIG and 802.11 Specifications and develop Functional Specification for developers.
- Work on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto function and UX integration on IVI.
- Responsible for triaging issues and finding the root cause, establish the countermeasure and close out the tickets in a timely manner.
- Work with Phone OEM to resolve issues.
- Work with across function team to meet all project deliverables and milestone dates.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) of Android Auto/CarPlay/Bluetooth/Multimedia Wi-Fi function by supporting internal CT stakeholders with technical know-how.
- Work across teams to overseeing product lifecycle for the defined product(s), from industry study, strategic planning, supplier evaluation, proof of concept, specification writing, software development, software evaluation and product launch.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical field from an accredited college/university.
- Relevant work experience in product management, product development, engineering, server/ cloud development, or other relevant disciplines.
- A proactive, motivated individual who can self-manage and execute once given strategic direction.
- Ability to manage a wide variety of projects across multiple brands, business units, and/or technology platforms.
- This position requires working onsite at our Plano, TX office Monday through Thursday and when the work permits remote Fridays.
