The company is looking for a Project Engineer, Electrical Systems to support the design, development, and improvement of new and existing products or product lines, ensuring products meet technical, functional, and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Understanding of engineering principles, mathematics, and materials science.
  • Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • 2D/3D CAD Modeling experience, preferably SolidWorks and Capital.
  • Experience in the marine industry.
  • Experience with the development of 12V Electrical Systems.
  • Experience or willingness to learn with the development of Graphical User Interface and Controls Programing.
  • Experience with C/C++, Linux, and Qt programming tools.

Responsibilities

  • Define, layout, and design component for 12V DC electrical system.
  • Create electrical harness models and drawings using CAD software.
  • Ensure marine electrical systems meet US Coast Guard, ABYC, and ISO requirements.
  • Test and validate prototype electrical components to ensure function and reliability.
  • Provide support for the manufacturing team regarding proper harness installation, training, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide support for the field technicians regarding training and troubleshooting.
  • Approve models and drawings for release.
