US Farathane is seeking a Product Engineer for their Ford Business Unit to manage and develop new product for Tier customer programs, focusing on design and part feasibilities and ensuring internal and external customer deliverables are met.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of automotive engineering experience
- Plastic injection molding knowledge
Responsibilities
- Manage and communicate development of new product- daily
- Support design activities of new product- daily
- Manage testing requirements for new products - as required
- Support APQP database (Phase 0 & 1) for each assigned program – weekly
- Creating and maintaining DFMEA, DVP, Open Issues
- Support tool trials and pre-production build activities, as needed
- Support launch activities at USF manufacturing and customer sites-throughout launch and SOP Post 90 activities.
Other
- This position sits fully onsite in Auburn Hills, MI.
- Maintain and manage ED&T budgets for each assigned program-weekly
- Support USF customers with ongoing communication meetings – weekly
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent job experience preferred.
