Skyworks is looking for a college summer intern to interface with other product test engineers as well as applications, design, foundry, and assembly engineers to develop complete and cost-effective test solutions to meet the requirements of various target markets, including industrial and automotive. The intern will also work with assembly, foundry, and design teams to solve challenging issues related to design interaction with the process and packaging to improve manufacturability, reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Coursework in analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- Knowledge of engineering fundamentals and methodologies in an IC environment
- Software development skills; C and Python preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug systems, circuits, and devices is a plus
- Familiarity with semiconductor process and device interaction including parasitic devices
- Knowledge of semiconductor device physics to aid with device debug in CMOS and BCD technologies
- Interest in statistical data analysis
Responsibilities

- work heavily with the assembly, foundry, and design teams to solve challenging issues related to design interaction with the process and packaging to improve manufacturability, reliability and performance
- learn traditional ATE platforms such as the Teradyne J750/Iflex, Advantest V93000 or Chroma A3650/80
- exposure to all aspects of product engineering including product qualification, data analysis and yield improvement
Other
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree candidate in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related discipline
- detail-oriented individual who enjoys collaborating with other engineers
- excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- comfortable in explaining technical concepts to a wide range of audiences including more senior engineers and management team
- Technical documentation authoring and editing skills
