MACOM is seeking an Engineering Intern to solve real-world engineering challenges, contribute to active projects, and gain exposure to the full product characterization lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proficient in using lab equipment for troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of schematic and PCB layout review.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Lab Equipment including VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Digital and Real-Time Oscilloscope, Power Supply, Signal generator etc.
- Understanding of hardware troubleshooting techniques
- C-Sharp or C++ programming experience
- Must have excellent analytical and technical skills to find and present any product related issue to the team
Responsibilities
- Developing Product Characterization Plan
- Creating Characterization Program
- Characterization Data Analysis and presentation
- Production test specifications
- ATE and probe data analysis and presentation
Other
- Minimum B.S. in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Demonstrate project management skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work closely and coordinate activities with other functional groups
