AmeriWater is looking to solve the problem of developing new groundbreaking products in the medical and healthcare industry, specifically in water purification systems and services for dialysis, industrial and healthcare applications.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, AutoCAD) and other relevant engineering tools.
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical fluidic systems, including pumps, motors, sensors, and solenoids
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping and lab tools
- Understanding of product testing and validation methods
- Experience with design and development of medical devices
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices
Responsibilities
- Support the full new product development lifecycle, from early concept through market launch.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure successful product development.
- Design, prototype, and test innovative medical devices using CAD software, rapid prototyping, and lab tools.
- Build, assemble, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical fluidic prototypes, including pumps, motors, sensors, and solenoids.
- Perform product testing and validation to verify performance, quality, and durability.
- Design and build test fixtures to support verification activities.
- Prepare engineering drawings, documentation, and prototypes for regulatory and internal review.
Other
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product engineering, specifically focused on new product development.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills.

- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
