Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in off-road equipment design, specifically in cabs, structures, engines, cooling systems, or hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling tools, such as Creo.
- Proficiency in using Windchill, Vision, and other internal John Deere tools
Responsibilities
- Create seat systems and ergonomic components that meet safety, comfort, and performance standards for various machine platforms.
- Apply ergonomic principles to ensure optimal operator posture, reachability, and visibility across diverse machines.
- Work closely with other design engineer, manufacturing engineers, and suppliers to integrate seat designs into vehicle platforms while balancing cost, weight, and manufacturability.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and interpersonal styles.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Cross-functional experience in PVV (Product Verification and Validation), structural evaluation, reliability engineering, supplier quality, and/or manufacturing teams.
- Familiarity with John Deere's Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP).
- Bachelor's degree in either Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related experience
