Emerson's Flow Controls business unit is looking to design specialized products for customers' most critical applications
Requirements
- Understanding of engineering principles and demonstrated experience in their application
- Two years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, product evaluation/testing, or other proven experience.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, tolerances and GD&T
- Programming experience.
Responsibilities
- Complete customer orders involving product design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction
- Provide technical support for assigned products to manufacturing, sales, service, and customers
- Maintain and update assigned products through Engineering Change Requests and design projects.
- Perform and document design calculations and analysis
- Build 3D CAD models and assemblies
- Create additional design documentation such as part numbers, test specifications, instruction manuals, design practices and procedures, etc.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to drive continuous improvement
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
- Excellent communication skills.
