Foster Farms is looking for individuals to perform essential job functions related to poultry processing, ensuring the efficient handling and movement of chicken products through the production line.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours) on concrete floors.
- Capable of repetitive grasping motions and lifting/unloading items weighing 60+ lbs.
- Ability to grasp and pick up trays with one hand, weighing between 1 to 10 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a cold environment (28°F).
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Basic math skills required.
Responsibilities
- Place baskets of chicken products weighing up to 70 lbs. on a conveyor.
- Place trays of chicken on a conveyor.
- Retrieve packages from a basket and place them on a conveyor at a speed of 35 to 65 packages per minute, depending on package size.
- Stack empty baskets and dividers on a dolly.
- Move racks of products to the line and remove empty racks from the line.
