RoadSafe Traffic Systems needs to ensure their traffic safety products meet quality standards, are free of defects, and are securely packaged for shipment. This role is crucial for maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Capability to apply basic math skills to perform job tasks.
- Ability to operate common shop tools, including miter saws, band saws, grinders, sanders, air die grinders, and vertical mills.
- Welding experience is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations, 6S, and Lean Manufacturing is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform the final assembly of products, ensuring they are clean and properly prepared for shipment.
- Inspect products for defects such as burrs, splatter, sharp edges, burns, or other foreign materials.
- Visually check welds for cracks, voids, or missing sections, and confirm all assembly components are present.
- Notify the IAS Team Leader of any non-conforming or suspect products.
- Communicate inventory needs to the IAS Team Leader in a timely manner.
- Support the construction and assembly of custom projects when necessary.
- Assist in the Raw Material Area as needed.
