OLAPLEX is seeking a Product Innovation Manager to lead the ideation, development, and execution of breakthrough beauty products that align with market trends, consumer insights, and brand strategy.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and consumer needs within the beauty and personal care categories
  • Translate insights into compelling product concepts and pipeline opportunities that strengthen brand positioning and portfolio strategies
  • Lead the end-to-end product development cycle, from concept ideation to development
  • Ensure product performance and sensorial experience meet brand standards and regulatory requirements
  • In partnership with the portfolio management team, manage cost, timelines, and feasibility to deliver commercially viable and innovative products
  • Drive multiple product launches simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Contribute to a strong stage-gate process, ensuring milestones are achieved and risks are managed

Other

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Marketing, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in product development, innovation, or R&D within the beauty, cosmetics, or personal care industry
  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
  • Passion for beauty, innovation, and consumer-centric design
