National Beef is seeking to hire a product inspector to ensure food products meet quality and safety standards throughout their life-cycle.
Requirements
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment of 45 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to lift up to 50 Lbs
- Ability to work standing for an entire shift
Responsibilities
- Inspecting raw materials and finished products
- Monitoring production processes
- Reporting and communicating quality issues to relevant teams
- Conducting visual and tactile inspections
- Testing using equipment to assess quality attributes like color, texture, size, and consistency
- Observing production lines and ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles
- Documenting findings to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
