Requirements
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to transfer analysis into a go-to-market strategy as well as interpret and analyze large amounts of data
- Ability to translate technical details into consumer-facing language
- Negotiation skills and contract management experience
- Strong understanding of and interest in the automotive industry and products
- Excellent project management, time management, organization, and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and handle a large workload
Responsibilities
- Plans, leads, and coordinates Subaru of America’s (SOA’s) marketing efforts for new vehicles and vehicle technologies
- Develops the new vehicle go-to-market strategy and coordinates with the Marketing agency
- Oversees implementation of go-to-market strategy by multiple SOA teams within and outside of Marketing
- Manages inter-departmental coordination to develop product launch plans and ensure integration of marketing communications across multiple functions
- Conducts strategic research alongside the agency and analyses before product launch to determine product positioning, target customer profiles, threats and opportunities, and messaging to achieve marketing and sales objectives
- Collects and analyzes launch results and metrics to optimize future launches
- Develops and oversees marketing strategy for brand- and model-level awards from entities such as the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), Kelley Blue Book (KBB), MotorTrend, Car and Driver, and Consumer Reports
Other
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience required
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain and enroll for approval by internal risk management to operate company vehicles
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Travel Required: 15%
- Hybrid Role - Remote work 2 days per week (after 90 days) [Wednesdays & Fridays]
