Maitland-Smith product line management and coordination
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with ERP (e.g., SAP) and/or PLM systems strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations to leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with international colleagues and vendors
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and exercise judgment in decision-making
- Previous experience in furniture or consumer product industries strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain, audit, and update product data in SAP, including specifications, dimensions, finish/material codes, pricing, and availability.
- Develop and distribute regular reports on product sales trends, margin performance, inventory levels, open development items, and discontinued SKUs.
- Perform data analysis to identify performance gaps, risks, and opportunities within the product line.
- Track product development timelines, proactively flagging delays or issues with international partners and recommending adjustments.
- Coordinate closely with procurement teams, overseas colleagues, and manufacturing partners to manage samples, order status, shipping timelines, and product availability.
- Support product setup and updates on internal and external websites, portals, and digital tools.
- Conduct basic competitive analysis and maintain records of comparable products in the global market.
