MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is looking for a Product Line Manager to drive the strategic plan for their product lines, coordinate customer support, and manage all product-related matters within the Americas region. This role aims to maintain, grow, and capture new business by providing technical expertise and support to the commercial team and customers.
Requirements
- Must have experience with waster water treatment and/or chemical metal finishing.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software; ability to generate documents and spreadsheets in Microsoft Word and Excel as required to support job function.
Responsibilities
- Manage and be responsible for all the products within the designated segment, to include but not limited to: Harmonization of products, Raw materials (pricing, issues etc.), market analysis, assistance with customer/R&D strategic projects, training and technical acumen of the product line.
- The coordination of customer support activities supporting the commercial team’s efforts to maintain, grow, or capture new business in the Americas.
- Formulate and develop marketing strategies with global product line marketing and industry managers.
- Effectively convey the most intricate details of MacDermid Enthone processes and products to internal and external customers via in-person discussions and electronic communication.
- Support, participate in, and lead training for the America’s Plating Academy
- Create and execute the product rationalization program in alignment with the global organization.
- Manage the global product technology transfers pipeline
Other
- Create and drive the product line strategic plan in coordination and alignment with the Global Product Line Managers, Global Strategic Marketing, and the Regional Marketing / Industry Manager.
- The position works in close alignment to the commercial field team in the Americas to drive and assist closing commercial opportunities.
- Some overseas travel is required for global events as the Americas expert and representative for the product line within the region.
- 75% +/- overall travel requirement for the above
- Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Experience writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Must have experience presenting to internal, customer, and industry groups.
