Valvoline Global Operations is seeking to optimize the profitability and cost structure of its Heavy Duty Lubricant and Heavy Duty and Light Duty Grease portfolios in the Americas. This involves managing product costing, identifying profit improvement opportunities, and rationalizing the product portfolio to reduce inefficiencies and excess inventory.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the Single Point of Contact for all business units relative to current costing of all portfolio items, cost changes based on supplier inputs, and cost implications of various supply chain shifts.
- Own the High Impact Bid process for Heavy Duty Lubricants for the Americas, ensuring all cross-functional partners are aware of the bid and the documentation is completed on time and to standard.
- Aid in the costing of new materials coupled with the development of the most effective supply chain to deliver fill rate while keeping inventory and COGS low.
- Own, monitor, and recommend product life cycle for the Americas Heavy Duty and Grease portfolios.
- Continually monitors inventory of greater than 1 year to identify opportunities to reduce excess goods by working closely with supply chain, operations, procurement and channel marketing.
- Continuously monitor and report on changes within the portfolio relative to margin.
- Review, update, maintain, and manage SAP data related to the HD portfolio.

- Bachelor’s Degree; Master of Business Administration (preferred)
- 5-7 years of experience
- Able to travel up to 10% of the time
