The job is looking to solve the business and technical problem of developing an advanced AI and IoT-driven solution for retail environments that enhances operational efficiency, improves customer experience, and reduces shrink through advanced automation and intelligent systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management, Software development, technical marketing or sales engineering in Retail Technology.
- Deep experience in retail systems, with a strong understanding of retailer user needs, operational workflows, and complex challenges related to asset protection and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with machine learning models, AI development cycles, SaaS solutions, hybrid deployment models, cloud infrastructure, and data solutions, particularly as they apply to retail environments.
- Proven experience handling technical requirements that span multiple teams.
- Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development teams to create backlogs, write requirements, and prioritize feature.
Responsibilities
- Build phase plans, coordinate technical requirements across different development (internal and external teams) and be the liaison for taking solutions to market.
- Drive requirements/ prioritization/backlog for agile development.
- Align with business analysts, product managers, program managers and be the technical representative to resolve issues and build go to market strategies.
- Develop solution go-to-market plans including opportunity analysis, pipeline analysis, market segmentation, channel readiness (where applicable) requirements, and outbound marketing requirements.
- Develop solution pricing/licensing approach and map against customer requirements with an understanding of competitive/other factors impacting deal closure.
- Drive competitive analysis and compete strategies against established players and new threats.
- Engage with product development and program managers to drive solution roadmaps, providing business requirements in terms of functionality, costs, and solution interdependencies.

- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent combination.
- A passionate advocate for the solution, capable of inspiring confidence and enthusiasm among stakeholders, internal teams, and customers while driving adoption and engagement.
- Exceptional ability to articulate industry and operational insights clearly and persuasively to executives, clients, and cross-functional teams using oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, customer insights, and industry needs to develop and execute a clear product vision and strategy.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, align stakeholders, and drive consensus on complex projects while coordinating across planning, development, marketing, sales, and support.
