MKS Instruments is looking to fill a Product Line Manager role within their Systems Irvine Business Unit to drive growth, profit, and customer satisfaction for their Inspection and Metrology segment products. The role requires developing product strategy, managing the product lifecycle, and identifying new market opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience
- Strong business acumen is essential
- Is the technical advisor for specific product(s) assigned
Responsibilities
- Directs the development of company market requirements for MKS Inspection and Metrology market, including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing
- Drive the development of business plans, managing lifecycles, and product positioning in the marketplace
- Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans
- Conducts market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs
- Establishes pricing strategies
- Collaborates with engineering, operations, supply chain and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s)
- Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments
