Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is looking to solve the problem of product coordination between sales, ports of entry, and production areas for its Core Products, to keep the business aligned to sales quotas.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Some knowledge of produce industry and agricultural background
- Supply Chain experience
- Working experience in the Produce industry
- Understanding of import procedures and quality control practices
- Knowledge of Produce Pro
Responsibilities
- Coordinates inventory management of North America ports the commodity and supports the sales team in their day-to-day sales/ tasks
- Consolidate the sales forecast and establish the demand plan weekly to submit to production
- Manage data entry and reporting for the category
- Manage and conduct multiple weekly touchpoints to provide sales, upper management, and production team updates and support
- Send daily inventory reports
- Oversee tracking of inventory and carryover
- Develop ways to mitigate shortages of product for daily truck loading
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in related Supply Chain, Business or International Commerce from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Good organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and leadership skills
- Bilingual: English and Spanish
