TE Connectivity is looking for an Intern in the Automotive Business Unit to support product life cycle management, market trend analysis, and product optimization to contribute to a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
Requirements
- Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA/BS or MA/MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).
Responsibilities
- Supporting us in managing all aspects of the product life cycle, from strategic planning to day-to-day tactical activities,
- Collaborating with multiple functions including project management, operations, engineering, sales, pricing and marketing to make an impact,
- Learning the most advanced technologies and market trends in today’s automotive industry and contributing your own insights how they will shape tomorrow’s mobility,
- Collecting hands-on experiences as well as opportunities to learn, network, and exposure to the senior leadership.
- Work with lead Product Managers to perform analysis related to go-to-market, pricing, and end-of-life strategies.
- Work across functions to identify opportunities to optimize the product value stream and improve profitability.
- Support in product lifecycle management by providing product trend analysis, competitive analysis, and benchmarking to the lead PM(s).

- Have earned a high school diploma or GED
- Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project

- The TE Connectivity internship program typically runs May thru August and gives students the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to the success of their team and build on their classroom experience. Throughout the 10–12-week program, interns will be provided with: Onboarding & Orientation, Professional Development Workshops, Networking Opportunities, Operations Experience, Executive Exposure
