Equinix is looking for a Product Manager to help drive growth of their Equinix Fabric product business by understanding customer and partner needs, developing a growth strategy, and creating business cases and feature enhancements for the product roadmap.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a software defined network infrastructure product management role or a combination of 5 years of product management experience and experience in network engineering/architecture
- Experience building end to end software for cloud networks, virtualization, networking, etc.
- Experience in API lifecycle management
- Knowledge of data center digital infrastructure capabilities and the value of interconnection within this ecosystem
- Passion for learning & mastering new technologies and bringing them together to build end-to-end solutions that meet customer needs
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product engineering, network architects, network deployment, and service delivery teams in the rollout of new offers, releases, and markets related to Equinix Fabric
- Run the business: analyze and optimize value chain activities; establish and monitor critical metrics; implement course corrections as needed
- Partner with UX, solution architects, and engineering to ideate solutions, placing a premium on user experience
- Manage the backlog: Prioritize critical features based on analysis of the business opportunity vs level of effort
- Define metrics that will be used to inform product success and help drive user experience improvements
- Support the growth of the overall Equinix Fabric business particularly in the areas of sales and marketing support, commercial enhancements and network-as-a-service feature development.
- Build knowledge of common use cases and lead magnets for Equinix Fabric and work with product marketing to communicate both internally and externally
