Charles River is seeking a Product Manager to manage its assigned portfolio, oversee the lifecycle of offers, identify opportunities for improvement, and assist in market analysis to drive new offerings/services to support commercial performance.
Requirements
- Analyze sales data and customer insights to gain a deep understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and sales performance.
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize product strategies and drive revenue growth.
- Assess market demand.
- Monitor the competitive landscape, analyze competitor products, pricing, and marketing strategies.
- Working knowledge of computer software (MS Word, MS Excel and databases) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned products in RMS portfolio, including oversight of the lifecycle of existing products, identify opportunities for improvement, and make strategic decisions about product offerings.
- Analyze sales data and customer insights to gain a deep understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and sales performance.
- Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion by conducting market research, gathering customer feedback, and assessing market demand.
- Advocate for customers, gather feedback and insights to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points.
- Monitor the competitive landscape, analyze competitor products, pricing, and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop effective go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, messaging, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate product launches, ensuring successful product introductions and adoption in the market.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) in life sciences or related discipline.
- 5 years related experience.
- strong analytical skills, market awareness, strategic thinking, and effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Must be able to influence resources/staff without direct reporting relationships.
- Ability to multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail required.
