Caterpillar Inc. is looking to improve its Product Lifecycle Management group by enhancing its Change & Document Management program. The goal is to gather requirements and feedback to improve existing and future tools for engineering product design and release, and to lead a team of Product Owners to deliver value to customers.
Requirements
- Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
- Knowledge of tools and techniques of specialized graphics programs; ability to produce, analyze, simulate and test product design drafts.
- Knowledge of processes, approaches, tools and techniques of product design; ability to convert customer and market requirements into product design.
- Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.
Responsibilities
- Setting priority for items within the program requirements
- Strategically aligning feedback to ensure Enterprise acceptance
- Reviewing current issues and other feedback avenues to create pipelines of work
- Assisting Product Owners with development and maturation of requirements
- Establishing Program Vision to align daily program work
Other
- Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Business, or Computer Science. OR equivalent working experience
- Experience within a Product Group, design and release.
- Prior CAT experience is a huge plus
- This position requires working onsite five days a week.
