Chamberlain Group is looking to solve the problem of developing and implementing product strategy for assigned business unit product categories to drive annual and multi-year operating plans and results, aligned to overall Chamberlain Group business objectives.
Requirements
- Ability to work in Matrix and Agile software development environment
- Understand and have experience with Agile Scrum methodologies or other commonly used tools
- Comfortable interacting with highly technical development teams
- Demonstrated excellence at analytical and quantitative skills, track record of using data to support assumptions, make recommendations and drive cross-functional actions
- SaaS Product Management is a plus
- Experience working with digital products in automotive software and/or consumer electronics
- Experience with go-to-market strategies and product/marketing/merchandising requirements for e-commerce and big box retail stores
Responsibilities
- Develop, communicate and implement product strategy for assigned business unit product category; deliver brand strategy, product category management, integrated marketing planning and pricing strategies
- Define and communicate the product category vision in support of the business unit strategy, including maintaining a clear product roadmap aligned to business goals in the short- and long-term
- Serve as Product Owner leading the development and owning the implementation and sustaining of end user connected experiences, including uncovering real-time consumer insights, driving user experience requirements, creating business cases and winning value propositions, and leading cross-functional development teams
- Ensure cross-functional marketing team has the necessary processes and procedures in place to manage the quality, cost, and delivery of products; identify areas for improvement, propose improvements to leadership and ensure team takes action when corrections are needed
- Develop a clear after-sales and service strategy to ensure customers are cultivated and supported in the long term, with the Customer Experience and Marketing teams, as appropriate
- Provide product content guidance and prioritization, integrated marketing planning and pricing strategies, facilitating and/or leading daily scrum activities, and executing against clearly defined timelines
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 2+ years in Engineering, Marketing and/or Product Management
- Able to travel up to 25% - domestically and internationally
- Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills
- Master's in Business Administration (preferred)
