Interface Systems is looking to solve the problem of ensuring new products are thoroughly tested, well-documented, and ready for scalable deployment in the field. This involves bridging the gap between engineering, operations, and installation teams to guarantee product quality and customer satisfaction from the initial release.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of hardware/software integration, video systems, AI analytics, or security technologies.
- Proven experience in creating structured documentation, BOM/SKU management, and installation guides.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on repeatability and scale.
- Experience with video surveillance systems, intrusion detection, or security operations.
- Background in developing best practices for system installation or configuration.
- Knowledge of AI/ML-based detection systems and IoT/edge devices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute structured test plans for new hardware, software, and integrated solutions.
- Manage pilot programs and coordinate lab testing, field testing, and iSOC validation.
- Capture and analyze test results to recommend design changes, improvements, or go/no-go decisions.
- Serve as the point of accountability for final product validation prior to general availability.
- Document approved product designs, system architectures, and SKUs for inclusion in the product catalog.
- Maintain an accurate bill of materials (BOM) and ensure SKUs align with sales, operations, and finance requirements.
- Create and update configuration guides, quick start sheets, and reference architecture documents.
Other
- 5+ years of experience in product management, technical product testing, or related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Product Management, or equivalent experience.
