Barco is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development and launch of innovative operating room equipment, software and AI-powered solutions in the medical technology space to improve patient outcomes and streamline surgical workflows
Requirements
- Strong understanding of AI and ML principles, and how they can be applied to solve business problems in the healthcare domain
- Experience with OR integration and deep understanding of workflows in this field
- Proven experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma and analytical platforms
- Regulatory experience required
- Prefer experience with software development and launch execution
- Prefer experience with product management across the continuum of sustaining current products and working closely with R&D on new products from conception through development and launch execution
- Prefer strong understanding of engineering, biomedical, bioengineering, biology, computer science or other relevant major
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the OR equipment, Software & AI solutions product portfolio, strategy and development thereof according to client and market needs
- Conduct market research, competitive assessment and map out customer journey
- Through VoC, translate customer needs into user requirements and product concepts
- Develop the business plan and go to market strategy
- Co-develop marketing/communications programmes with marketing and drive content for sales collateral messaging, sales training and tools
- Identify, develop and manage strategic external partnerships with technology vendors, research institution, healthcare providers and other third parties to accelerate product development and market adoption
- Build out a strong network and collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders
Other
- Master of Science, Master of Engineering or equivalent
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- 5 years product management or strategy management experience in healthcare, medtech or medical devices
- Travel up to 20%
- Hybrid 40%/60% work-from-home/in office working model
