Requirements
- Excellent understanding of audio technologies and industry trends
- Familiarity with consumer electronics technologies, products and markets
- Experience and ability to synthesize technologies into product communication for broad audience including customers, media, analysts, and industry professionals
- Experience with press and media
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategy and roadmap, craft positioning, and define promotional activities
Responsibilities
- Develop and apply insights to help infuse innovative features into our product development process
- Write product and marketing requirements documents
- Collaborate with engineering to investigate new technologies
- Be the voice of the market to Apple during the development phase
- Craft product messaging briefs
- Guide marketing communications on the creation of product launch materials
- Act as a product spokesperson in press briefings and public events
Other
- 4+ years Product Management/Product Marketing experience having led the entire product development cycle from concept to introduction, in the CE industry
- BS degree preferred, MS/MBA preferred, or equivalent experience
- Requires international and domestic travel
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, as well as proven success as a product spokesperson on a national or global level
- Passionate about developing and shipping cutting edge CE products, and how technology is shaping human experiences
