Aptean is seeking a high-impact Product Manager for Aptean Pay to take full ownership of product vision, performance, and growth, and to lead a strategic offering that touches virtually every Aptean ERP customer

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of payment methods (ACH, credit card), PCI compliance, integrations, and residual revenue models
  • Proven experience working with external vendors or partners and navigating complex B2B relationships
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Sales, Services, and Marketing
  • Analytical mindset with experience in using data to define success and make product decisions
  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with 2+ years in the payment processing or embedded finance space

Responsibilities

  • Own the Aptean Pay product strategy and roadmap—driving usage, expansion, and revenue growth across Aptean ERP customers
  • Serve as the internal payments expert, bringing deep domain knowledge of payment processing systems, compliance, APIs, and fintech industry trends
  • Hold our processing partners accountable, identifying and addressing issues proactively, raising red flags when necessary, and ensuring SLA adherence and transparency
  • Act as the voice of the customer—define product requirements and features that meet real-world finance and operational needs
  • Drive end-to-end product success, from onboarding through long-term adoption, in partnership with Sales, Customer Success, Services, and Marketing
  • Identify and advocate for R&D resourcing to support roadmap execution, integration, scalability, and innovation
  • Monitor performance metrics including adoption, transaction volume, and residual revenue to identify opportunities for optimization
