RDO Equipment Co. is looking to enhance and augment machines and systems on construction sites through the strategy creation and implementation of software solutions, requiring support for customers considering, purchasing, and implementing these solutions.
Requirements
- Familiar with 3D modeling and its impact on the construction process.
- Ability to troubleshoot, train and demonstrate proficiency on construction field technology.
- Ability to clearly and plainly articulate the value proposition for software solutions in construction.
- Experience in GPS or machine control technology is strongly preferred but not required.
- Strong computer skills
Responsibilities
- This individual will be familiar with 3D modeling and its impact on the construction process.
- This individual will have the ability to troubleshoot, train and demonstrate their proficiency on construction field technology.
- This individual will be able to clearly and plainly articulate the value proposition for software solutions in construction.
- Document machine information effectively.
- Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment and software solutions sold within the company area of responsibility.
- Assist in training and coordination for basic in-field start-ups that involve software, including specific solutions for technology products.
Other
- Supporting the team in the field and our customers as they consider, purchase and implement now software solutions in their businesses.
- Participating in the strategy creation and implementation of the companies focus on software solutions to enhance and augment machines and systems on the construction site.
- Coordination between RDO stores and the Field Support Office as well as building important partnerships with RDO Equipment Co.’s manufacturing partners.
- Identify new business opportunities in the construction software space.
- 4-50%, seasonally based.
- Strong working knowledge of a construction site and the challenges our customers face every day.
